American novelist and playwright. Born c. 1917 in New Haven, CT; died Mar 6, 1995, age 78, in NYC; m. Wallace Litwin.
Wrote many novels, including The Girl in the Turquoise Bikini (later filmed as How Sweet It Is!), and the long-running play Any Wednesday (1964–66), also adapted for the screen.
