Russian shot putter. Name variations: Nadyezhda. Born on September 29, 1945, in the Soviet Union.
Nadyezhda Chizhova won the Olympic bronze medal for the shot put in Mexico City in 1968. In the Munich games in 1972, she took the gold in the shot put. Four years later, in Montreal, she completed her necklace set in the same event, capturing a silver (1976).
