American silent-film actress. Name variations: Winnifred Westover. Born Nov 9, 1899, in San Francisco, CA; died Mar 19, 1978, in Los Angeles, CA; m. William S. Hart (Western star), 1921 (sep 1922, div.); children: William S. Hart Jr.

Made film debut in Intolerance (1916), followed by Don Quixote, The Fall of Babylon, Anne of Little Smoky (title role), The Microscope Mystery, Love's Masquerade, and Silkesstrumpan; often starred opposite Willam S. Hart. Nominated for Academy Award for Lummox (1930).
