NACHÉZ, TIVADAR
NACHÉZ, TIVADAR (Theodor Naschitz ; 1859–1930), violinist and composer. Born in Pest, Hungary, Nachéz as a boy played with Liszt and studied under *Joachim in Berlin. In 1889, after settling in London, he embarked on his career as an internationally renowned violin virtuoso. His compositions include Danses Tsiganes, a violin concerto, and a string quartet. He also edited Vivaldi's violin concertos in A minor and G minor.
