Nacho Libre ★½ 2006 (PG)
Surprising misfire offers a few chuckles and the chance to see Black in spandex and a cape but not much else. Ignacio is a cook at a Mexican orphanage who assumes the alter ego of masked wrestler Nacho Libre in order to help out the tykes. He even has a tag-team buddy, skinny Esqueleto (Jimemez), and they somewhat resemble a cheap version of Laurel and Hardy. It's also not nearly as outrageous as the actual Lucha Libre wrestling it features. 91m/C DVD, Blu-ray Disc, HD DVD . US Jack Black, Peter Stormare, Ana de la Reguera, Hector Jimenez, Richard Montoya, Darius A. Rose, Moises Arias, Diego Eduardo Gomez, Carlos Maycotte, Cesar Gonzalez; D: Jared Hess; W: Jared Hess, Jerusha Hess, Mike White; C: Xavier Perez Grobet; M: Danny Elfman.
