Heinrich von Pfolspeundt
fl. 1460
German physician and member of the Teutonic Order of Knights. Pfolspeundt was one of the first doctors in the late medieval, early Renaissance period to take medical practices beyond the crude conditions that had prevailed throughout much of the Middle Ages. During his time, a number of other German physicians, particularly those in Strasbourg, served to advance the study of medicine.
