American Society of Mining and Reclamation Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To grant deserving undergraduate students from academic institutions. Focus: Mining. Qualif.: Applicants must have completed at least sophomore year of curriculum in a science discipline directly relating to and leading to a profession in reclamation; must be full time students; and must have an adequate grade point of average, carry the curriculum required hours and participated in other cur-ricular activities. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on extracurricular activities; participation; and leadership.

Funds Avail.: $750-undergraduate; $1,000-masters; $1,500-Ph.D. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form found at ASMR website. Applicants must submit a letter containing education and career goals; three reference letters with two academic (one from advisor); college transcripts; and resume with list of awards, honors and extracurricular activities listed.
