ASNE Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To improve and promote the profession of naval engineering. Focus: Naval engineering. Qualif.: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen; undergraduate full-time student in the last year of undergraduate program at an accredited college or university; or graduate student on a full graduate program leading to an engineering or physical science degree at an accredited university; be members of ASNE. Criteria: Selection is based on academic standing (transcript); work history; extracurricular activities; the recommendations and other character references; financial need (many also be considered); and proven interest and commitment to the naval engineering field.

Funds Avail.: $3,000 for undergraduate students; $4,000 for graduate students. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form. Deadline: February 15.

Remarks: Inaugurated in 1979.
