Paunović, Milenko

Paunović, Milenko , Serbian composer; b. Sajkas, Nov. 28, 1889; d. Belgrade, Oct. 1, 1924. He studied in Leipzig with Reger and Riemann, and became a choral conductor in Novi Sad. In his music he followed Wag-nerian concepts, and wrote several music dramas to his own texts; also a Yugoslav Symphony (Ljubljana, March 17, 1924).
