Fernández Bordas, Antonio
Fernández Bordas, Antonio, Spanish violinist; b. Orense, Jan. 12, 1870; d. Madrid, Feb. 18, 1950. He studied at the Madrid Cons, with Jesus de Monasterio, and, at the age of 11, won 1st prize for violin. After giving concerts in England, France, and other European countries, he returned to Spain and became a prof, of violin at the Madrid Cons. In 1921 he was elected director.
