Bach, Johann Aegidius
Bach, Johann Aegidius, second son of jo-hann(es Hans); b. Erfurt, Feb. 9, 1645; d. there (buried), Nov. 22, 1716. He succeeded his father as municipal music director in Erfurt in 1682. From 1690 he was also organist at the Michaeliskirche there, succeeding Pachelbel.
