Bach, Georg ChristOph, eldest son of Christoph; b. Erfurt, Sept. 6, 1642; d. Schweinfurt, April 24, 1697. He was cantor in Themar from 1668, and in Schweinfurt from 1684. A cantata of his is publ. in Das Erbe deutscher Musik (vol. II, Leipzig, 1935).
