American golfer. Born June 19, 1960, in Hollywood, FL; attended University of Miami.
Won Trans-National, World Amateur, Eastern and Mexican Amateur (1980); won North and South, South Atlantic, and Harder Hall (1981); joined LPGA and named Rookie of the Year (1982); won Boston Five (1983); won Red Robin Kyocera Inamori Classic (1989). Was Golf Digest's #1 ranked amateur (1980).
