English ballet dancer. Born Dec 18, 1952, in Manchester, England; m. Ronald Hynd (ballet dancer and choreographer).
Trained with Sadler's Wells Ballet and later joined the company; danced with Sadler's Wells—later Royal Ballet—throughout career, with principal roles in Giselle, Coppélia, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and La Fille Mal Gardée; created roles in Alfred Rodrigues' Ile Sirenes (1952) and Café des Sports (1954), and Macmillan's Danses Concertantes (1955); retired from performance (1986).
