Paul Cole Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support to students for educational careers in line with nuclear medicine technology. Focus: Nuclear medicine. Qualif.: Applicants must demonstrate financial need; be enrolled or accepted in an institution accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT); have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale) or B average in a nuclear medicine technology core curriculum. Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on financial need, statement of goals, academic performance, and program director recommendations.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit complete application, which includes statement and program director's signature; official transcripts of all format education; letter of recommendation from the program director verifying the applicant's acceptance into or enrollment in the nuclear medicine technology program. Deadline: October 17.

SNMTS Bachelor's Degree Completion Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students pursuing a Bachelor's degree completion program related to their nuclear medicine career. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must demonstrate financial need; hold a certificate or associate's degree in nuclear medicine technology; currently enrolled in a bachelor's level program to advance their career in nuclear medicine; have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (on 4.0 scale) or B average in the program's core curriculum, and member of the SNMTS. Criteria: Candidates will be judged based on the criteria designed by the Scholarship Committee.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application, which includes applicant's statement and recommenders’ signature; official transcripts of all formal education (high school transcripts are not necessary if transcripts of college level work are submitted); a letter of recommendation from an educational or professional reference; an official transcript or letter from the institution's registrar's office verifying the applicant's enrollment or acceptance in the Bachelor's degree program. Deadline: May 30.

SNMTS Clinical Advancement Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support technologists who are pursuing clinical advancement through didactic educational programs. Focus: Clinical sciences. Qualif.: Applicants must demon- strate financial need; be currently enrolled in didactic educational programs (ex. CT, DEXA, physics, statistics); complete the said class or program; and member of the SNMTS. Criteria: Candidates will be judged based on the criteria designed by the Scholarship Committee.

To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application, which includes applicant's statement and recommenders’ signature; official transcripts of all formal education (high school transcripts are not necessary if transcripts of college level work are submitted); letter of recommendation from an educational or professional reference; an official transcript or letter from the institution's registrar's office verifying the applicant's enrollment or acceptance in the educational programs.
