Description:

Independent, 4-year, coed. Awards associate and bachelor's degrees. Founded 1946. Setting: 150-acre small town campus. Endowment: $43.4 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $38,061 per student. Total enrollment: 2,409. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 18:1. 1,473 applied, 70% were admitted. 9% from top 10% of their high school class, 25% from top quarter, 50% from top half.
