Voice Commands
VOICE COMMANDS
Many software companies produce user interfaces for the seeing and hearing impaired. Using speech recognition technology, a user calls out a command to access a particular file or function, such as adding bold to text. Others generate voice instruction coming from the computer itself, allowing the user to know when the bold command is being used. Translators also convert words into sign language for use in teleconferencing.
