Blatt, František Tadeáš
Blatt, František Tadeáš, Bohemian clarinetist and composer; b. Prague, 1793; d. there, March 9, 1856. He studied clarinet with Václav Farník and composition with Dionys Weber at the Prague Cons. He was a member of the orch. at the Prague Opera, and also taught at the Prague Cons. He publ. a method for clarinet (1828) and also composed a number of works for the clarinet; other works include duets, trios, and piano music.
