Natalie of Hesse-Darmstadt (1755–1776)
Russian royal. Born Natalie Wilhelmina on June 25, 1755; died in childbirth on April 26, 1776; daughter of Caroline of Birkenfeld-Zweibrucken (1721–1774) and Louis IX (b. 1719), landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt; married Paul I (1754–1801), tsar of Russia (r. 1796–1801), on October 10, 1773; children: one (b. 1776). Following Natalie's death, Paul married Sophia Dorothea of Wurttemberg .
