At Barcelona Olympics, won a silver medal in quadruple sculls without coxswain (1992); won a gold medal for coxed eights at Atlanta Olympics (1996) and gold medals for coxed eights and coxless pair at Sydney Olympics (2000); at World championships, won gold medals for coxed eights (1993, 1997, 1998, 1999); won a gold medal for coxed eights at Athens Olympics (2004).
