American actress. Name variations: Eleanor Crowe; Lenore Fair. Born Dec 21, 1902, in Richmond, Virginia; died April 26, 1957, in Seattle, Washington; m. William Boyd (cowboy star as Hopalong Cassidy), 1926 (div. 1929).
First appeared in vaudeville, stock, and musical comedies; on screen, often appeared opposite husband; films include The Volga Boatman, Yankee Clipper, The Miracle Man, Kismet, Gold and the Girl and Jim the Conqueror.
