Collier, Lesley (1947–)

English ballet dancer. Born Mar 13, 1947, in Orpington, Kent, England.

Was principal dancer with Royal Ballet throughout performance career, creating roles in Frederick Ashton's Jazz Calendar (1968) and Enigma Variations (1968), and in Kenneth Macmillan's The Four Seasons (1975); was featured in Jerome Robbins' Dances at a Gathering and in Macmillan's Manon; often danced in films, including "Hunca Munca" in Ashton's Tales of Beatrix Potter (1971); also appeared in The Dancing Princesses (1978) and Stories from a Flying Trunk (1979); on tv, danced in "The Nutcracker" (1985) and "Gala Tribute to Tchaikovsky" (1993).
