Boschetti, Amina (1836–1881)
Italian ballet dancer and choreographer. Born 1836 in Milan, Italy; died 1881 in Naples, Italy.
At 12, debuted at Teatro alla Scala in Milan and continued to perform there for next 16 years; danced featured roles at La Scala in works by Paul Taglioni, Pasquale Borri, Salvatore Taglioni, and Giuseppe Rota; created roles in numerous works by Rota, including in his La Maschera (1865); choreographed many solos and a full-length ballet Il Vello d'Ore, which is said to have premiered the day she died.
