Scolicia An ichnoguild of structures made by motile, chemosymbiotic organisms (see CHEMOSYMBIOSIS) found in Tertiary and Quaternary sands and muddy sands. They were inhabited by Echinocardium cordatum, a species of heart urchins, remains of which have been found within them.
