Dicteriastidae(Heliocharitidae; damselflies; order Odonata, suborder Zygoptera) Family of damselflies in which there are many secondary antenodals in the wing venation, and the second and third branch of the radius arches towards the first soon after its origin. The family is neotropical and 12 extant species have been described.
