Candelariella (order Lecanorales) A genus of lichens in which the thallus is crustose and yellow. The apothecia are sessile and lecanorine. Species are found mostly in nitrogen-rich habitats, e.g. on rocks or trees exposed to bird droppings, on farm buildings, etc.
