Eisendrath, M. N. (1902–73). US Reform rabbi. While he was president of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, he presided over the change in direction of the Reform movement to a new rapprochement with tradition. He was also greatly involved in civil rights, social action, and interfaith activities.
