AM EHAD PARTY (One Nation)
An Israeli electoral list, constituted in February 1999, on the initiative of union leaders of the left, anticipating the scheduled elections for the following May. As a result of the elections of 17 May, which saw the victory of the Laborite Ehud Barak as prime minister, this list won two seats in the Knesset, taken by Haim Katz and Amir Peretz. As a labor-oriented organization, it focuses on social welfare and issues related to employment. In the 2003 elections it received 2.8 percent of the vote (three seats in the Knesset).
