Tudor, Antony [ William Cook] (b London, 1908; d NY, 1987). Eng. choreographer, dancer, and teacher. Joined Ballet Rambert 1930. Founded Dance Th. with A. de Mille 1937. Formed London Ballet 1938. Worked in NY 1940–50 as dancer and choreog. Royal Swed. Ballet 1949–50, NY City Ballet 1951–2. Dir. NY Met Opera Ballet Sch. 1950. Joined teaching staff, Juilliard Sch. Dir., Royal Swed.
