McClatchy Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: Journalism. Qualif.: Applicants must be minority students pursuing print journalism careers in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded based on need and merit as determined by the School of Journalism.

SCSPA Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support to deserving students. Focus: Journalism. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating seniors who have been admitted and plan to attend the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Criteria: Awards will be based on scholastic journalism involvement as well as applicants’ academic achievements while in high school.

SCSPA Yearbook Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to deserving students. Focus: Journalism. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who have shown academic excellence and plan to attend the University of South Carolina main campus in Columbia. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.
