Rokkaku, Kijo (1941– ). Japanese architect. He worked with Isozaki before setting up on his own in 1969. Disillusioned with much of Modernism, he drew upon other sources. His Zasso Forest Kindergarten, Kyoto (1977), incorporated sculpture with parts that moved in the wind. Other buildings include the Konkokyo Hall, Fukuoka (1980), and the Metropolitan Martial Arts Hall, Tokyo (1989).
