Einhart
Einhart (c.770–837). German architect. He appears to have worked in some kind of overseeing capacity on the Carolingian palace and chapel at Aachen, in which case he was of considerable importance as an influential designer. He built Steinbach monastery (constructed 827) and Seligenstadt Abbey (831–40).
