Klementyev, Lev (Mikhailovich)
Klementyev, Lev (Mikhailovich), Russiantenor; b. St. Petersburg, April 1, 1868; d. Tiflis, Oct. 26, 1910. He appeared in operetta in Kharkov and St. Petersburg, then was a member of the Kiev Opera (1888–89), the Tiflis Opera (1889–90), and Moscow’s Bolshoi Theater (from 1892). He was noted for his faithful rendition of Russian operatic roles.
