Dreyer, Johann Melchior
Dreyer, Johann Melchior, German organist and composer; b. Rőttingen, Wiirttemberg, June 24, 1747; d. Ellwangen, March 22, 1824. He studied in Ellwangen, where he became a church organist. He wrote chiefly church music. Among his publ. works are 18 Missae breves (1790–1802), 24 Hymni brevissimi ad vesperas (1791), Te Deum (1800), and organ music.
