Body Heat
Body Heat ★★★½ 1981 (R)
During a Florida heat wave, a none-too-bright lawyer becomes involved in a steamy love affair with a mysterious woman and then in a plot to kill her husband. Hurt and Turner (in her film debut) became stars under Kasdan's direction (the three would reunite for “The Accidental Tourist”). Hot love scenes supplement a twisting mystery with a suprise ending. Rourke's arsonist and Danson's soft shoe shouldn't be missed. 113m/C VHS, DVD . William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, Richard Crenna, Ted Danson, Mickey Rourke, J.A. Preston, Kim Zimmer, Jane Hallaren; D: Lawrence Kasdan; W: Lawrence Kas-dan; C: Richard H. Kline; M: John Barry.
