Marianne of the Netherlands (1810–1883)

Princess of the Netherlands . Born on May 9, 1810; died on May 29, 1883; daughter of Frederica Wilhelmina of Prussia (1774–1837) and William I (1772–1843), king of the Netherlands (r. 1813–1840, abdicated in 1840); married Albert (1809–1872), prince of Prussia, on September 14, 1830 (divorced 1849); children: Charlotte (1831–1855, who married Bernard II, duke of Saxe-Meiningen); Albert (b.1837); Elizabeth (1840–1840); Alexandrine (1842–1906, who married William, duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin). Prince Albert's second wife was Rosalie von Rauch (1820–1879), countess of Hohenau.
