Te Rangimarie, Puna Himene (fl. 1908–1911)
New Zealand tribal leader, nurse, and healer. Married Hopu Nga Oka.
Served as spiritual leader to her people; also began to practice traditional healing (c. 1908); became 1st Maori woman to be prosecuted under Tohunga Suppression Act (1910); though allowed to continue to practice as nurse, was forced to stop practicing tohungaism.
