Taught at University of Vincennes and was writer-in-residence at University College Dublin (1999); works include George Sand: Eine Frau in Bewegung, Die Frau von Stand (1980), Der schwimmende Österreicher (1985), Rolling Stein (1997) and Barnarella oder das Herzkunstwerk in Flammen (1998).
