Italian-born violinist. Born 1961 in Rome, Italy; studied with Dorothy DeLay at Juilliard School.
Immigrated to US at age 8, to study at Curtis Institute; professional career began when she won the Walter W. Naumberg International Violin Competition (1980); recognized with an Avery Fisher Career Grant (1983); was Ovation's Debut Recording Artist of the Year (1988); has recorded over 15 albums and gives recitals world-wide.
