Roman empress. Died in 65 or 66 ce; dau. of Poppaea Sabina (d. 47); granddau. of Poppaeus Sabinus, governor of Moesia; m. Rufius Crispinus; m. Marcus Salvius Otho, Roman emperor (r. 68); m. Nero, Roman emperor (r. 37–68), in 63.

Of senatorial background and married to Marcus Salvius Otho, who would briefly reign as emperor after Nero's death, began affair with Nero (58); was killed when he kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant.
