The 1st women to be ordained in the Lutheran Church in America, served at the University of Maryland, College Park, as associate in Ministry (beginning in 1965) and then became campus pastor after her ordination (Nov 22, 1970); named the University of Maryland's Outstanding Woman of the Year (1995).
