French memoirist. Name variations: Nicole Colleson du Haussay; Madame du Hausset. Born 1713 in Vitry-le-François, France; died 1801.
Married into aristocracy; after husband's death, entered royal household as lady's maid to Duchesse de Pompadour; wrote Mémoires (1809), which give a picture of the private lives of Louis XV and Mme de Pompadour.
