American golfer. Born Leona Pressler, July 1, 1904, in Stockton, Missouri; died Oct 1982 in El Cajon, California.
Reached the quarterfinals of the USGA Women's Amateur 7 times (1927–34); chosen for the Curtis Cup team (1932, 1943, 1936). Honored by the Helms Foundation as the greatest woman amateur in Los Angeles area (1955).
