Mount Aragats (ărəgăts´, Rus. ərəgäts´) or Mount Alagez (ələgyôs´), extinct volcano, 13,435 ft (4,095 m) high, N Armenia, in the Lesser Caucasus. It is the highest peak in Armenia.
