Independent Methodist, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, diplomas, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1911. Setting: 111-acre urban campus with easy access to Charlotte, NC. Endowment: $14 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $5072 per student. Total enrollment: 784. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 18:1. 999 applied, 84% were admitted. 9% from top 10% of their high school class, 33% from top quarter, 70% from top half. 16 class presidents, 161 student government officers. Full-time: 721 students, 47% women, 53% men. Part-time: 63 students, 65% women, 35% men.
