NSPF Ray B. Essick Scholarship Awards (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage healthier living through aquatic education and research. Focus: Health education. Qualif.: Applicant must be a Certified Pool/Spa Operator; a Certified Pool/Spa Operator Instructor; or have an immediate family member possessing CPO certification. Criteria: Selection is based on the applications and supporting materials.

Funds Avail.: $2,000. Number Awarded: 1 per fall semester. To Apply: Application forms are available at the website. Applicants must prepare a biographical sketch (maximum of 300 words); a resume; a 2“ x 3” photograph; an essay of no more than five double-spaced, 12 font size, type-written pages; official academic transcripts; a copy of recent SAT or ACT scores; two letters of recommendation from teachers or college professors. Deadline: June 1.
