BioRx/Hemophilia of North Carolina Educational Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to people with bleeding disorders in their pursuit to obtain higher education degree. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be caregivers of children affected with bleeding disorders, a person who has been diagnosed with hemophilia, or a sibling of a person diagnosed with hemophilia. Criteria: Priority is given to a hemophilia community member, parent and family members seeking healthcare related education from an accredited college or university or certified training program.

Beth Carew Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide assistance and support to individual and families affected by chronic illness and help these students obtain higher education degree. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Any student with hemophilia, von Will-ebrand disease, or a related inherited bleeding disorder is eligible to apply for this Scholarship; high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college or university may apply; College freshmen, sophomores, and juniors may also apply. Criteria: Recipient is chosen based on merit.

Bill McAdam Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to people with bleeding disorders in their pursuit to obtain higher education degree. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Scholarship is open to a person with hemophilia, VWD or other hereditary bleeding disorder or the person’s spouse, partner, child or sibling planning to attend an accredited college or university or certified training program. Criteria: Recipient is chosen based on financial need.

Parking Industry Institute Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial aid to support the association’s commitment to advance educational opportunities. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited two or four year college/university; a child or spouse of a full-time employee of a firm which is a member of the National Parking Association; a full-time or part-time employee of a firm which is a member of the National Parking Association. Criteria: Applicants will be selected on the basis of merits as well as scholastic and extracurricular achievement.

Funds Avail.: $1,000-$3,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form, and related materials such as transcripts and recommendations to the Trustees of The Parking Industry Institute. Deadline: March 1.
