Description: District-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Illinois Community College Board. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1974. Setting: small town campus. Educational spending 2002-03: $2801 per student. Total enrollment: 2,374. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 15:1. 2% from top 10% of their high school class, 27% from top quarter, 60% from top half. Full-time: 1,211 students, 58% women, 42% men. Part-time: 1,163 students, 68% women, 32% men. Students come from 4 states and territories, 3 other countries, 11% from out-of-state, 0.2% Native American, 1% Hispanic, 4% black, 1% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 0.2% international, 33% 25 or older, 4% transferred in.
