Spezza
Spezza or Spazio, Andrea (d. 1628). Architect of the Baroque Valdštejn Palace, Prague (1624–34), for Albrecht Wenzel Eusebius (1583–1634), Graf von Waldstein (Wallenstein), the famous commander of the Imperial forces during the Thirty Years War. This monumental building, with its five courts and gigantic gardens, was projected by Spezza and realized by G. B. Pieroni and others, but it was Pieroni who created the enchanting and monumental Sala Terrena there, facing the gardens.
