Schoch, Johann Georg (1758–1826). Landscape-gardener to Fürst von Anhalt-Dessau, at Wörlitz. Not only was he instrumental in creating one of the most magical gardens in all Europe, but he wrote an important catalogue of plants there, published in 1814.
